Winner for Dan Skelton but lost his form and tailed off on sole start for Jaqueline Stephen last time. Market likely to reveal expectations on return to action.

Won two of his last three starts and stayed on strongly when winning on final start for Dan Skelton at Ludlow last time. 6lb rise looks fair and likely to run well again with the Champion Jockey booked.

Seen sparingly since back-to-back wins in 2015 and tailed off on return to action at Carlisle last month. Has a bit to prove at present.

Well beaten on first five starts under Rules but outran his odds of 100/1 at Newcastle last time when fourth of 10. Not without a chance if he can build on that for handicap debut here.

Didn't do much on the Flat and she was poor on first two hurdles runs but produced a much better performance at Towcester when last seen. Similar conditions here over the same trip but has a significant absence to overcome and may need the run.

Very inconsistent sort who finished a close runner-up on final hurdles start when trained in Ireland. Showed very little on debut for this yard though and handicap mark looks a little stiff on achievements to date.

Yet to get competitive in seven career starts but may do a little better on handicap debut. Probably the second-string on jockey bookings and market likely to be informative.

Miss Amelia38
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Jamie Hamilton(3)| T: M Walford| OR:  101

Well beaten on first three starts but produced a much better performance when dropped in trip here finishing a 4L fourth of eight last time over C&D. More needed on handicap debut in a stronger contest but entirely unexposed at least.

Winner on hurdles debut at Hexham in August and would have finished closer over C&D last time if not for a mistake at the last. Capable of more improvement on handicap debut.

Unplaced on all seven Rules starts and tailed off in similar conditions at Newcastle last time. Needs to take a big step forward on handicap debut.

Just one win from 20 starts so far but more consistent than some in here and tends to give his running. Not beaten far at Carlisle two starts back and she's an each-way player on that form.

Forecasts

Gran Maestro (10/3), Something Brewing (4/1), Bahrikate (5/1), Astaroland (5/1), Royal Beekeeper (11/2), Asum (8/1), Miss Amelia (8/1), Strike West (10/1), No Boundaries (12/1), Mac Cennetig (14/1), Jacarno (16/1), Georgian Firebird (25/1)

Verdict

SOMETHING BREWING was running well over course and distance last time and if it wasn't for a mistake at the last he would have finished much closer. A 6lb rise for Royal Beekeeper looks on the lenient side and he ought to run well again after winning two of his last three starts. The consistent Bahrikate could provide best of the rest and she's more likely than some in here to give her running.
