Improved on his Pontefract debut (6f, soft) when tried on the All Weather at Chelmsford (6f, AW) last time, scoring by ½L. Penalised for that, but decent claimer up to negate most of those 4lb and not ruled out despite wide draw.
Has looked moderate in all three starts so far over 6f, the latest being his first after being gelded, when running on the Tapeta at Newcastle last month. Improvement needed in some measure to take a hand today.
Improved for his Redcar debut (6f, good to soft) when beaten just 1¼L here (7f) last time at 80-1. Unlikely to be those odds today after that showing and with AW success in his pedigree, he could continue to build on that promise today.
Beaten just a head in a 7f Doncaster maiden in October and proved that he handles this surface when 4½L runner-up here over 7f last time. Drop in trip looks well worth a try and from a good draw he should be able to make an impact.
First foal. Dam 7f two-year-old and 1m1f winner, out of 1m1f-1m4f winning half-sister to 6f Listed winner Paradise Isle. Stable 0-5 in AW juvenile contests over last five season, so perhaps best watched, though precautionary market check prudent.
33-1 and last of five, beaten 14L, on debut at Newcastle (7f) last month. Is full-brother to a 5f-6f AW winner, so probably more to come, though it takes a big leap of faith to see him being good enough today.
Was bought for 85,000 gns in the Craven breeze-ups in April and is related to plenty of winners, but after one run for Roger Varian, when he was sent off favourite but trailed in last, he sold for just £3,000 in August. Bit to prove on stable debut.
His neck second in a Galway nursery (7f) from a mark of 85 in August (when with AP O'Brien) is smart form in context here. Lost thread on next two starts and gelded before this stable debut. Dam an AW winner and if visor a help then he has claims.
Improved for his debut when 4½L fifth behind Brigand at Chelmsford last month. 4lb better off with that rival and potential for further improvement, so could go some way to bridging the gap and get competitive.
Made a decent step up on her Nottingham debut run when beaten 5¾L at Chelmsford (6f) last time out on stable debut. Open to improvement and can do so, though perhaps of more interest when she has a handicap mark.

Forecasts
Epic Fantasy (4/6), Brigand (3/1), City Gent (4/1), Mount Wellington (8/1), Rose Tinted Spirit (11/1), Becker (20/1), Keynote (25/1), Oneroa (28/1), Harbour Pilot (50/1), Hocus Focus (80/1), Balmec (100/1)
Brigand has both a penalty and the widest draw to contend with, which won't be ideal over this short, so he is taken on today with EPIC FANTASY, who is drawn well and has been running as though this drop to 6f might yield a more positive result. City Gent is also poorly drawn but can't be ruled out with the strongest CV going into this and headgear to help. Mount Wellington and Rose Tinted Spirit are others to consider.
- Epic Fantasy
- City Gent
- Mount Wellington
