Form has been patchy over the past 12 months but he did come good to beat a subsequent winner 18L in October. Has found things tougher in better company since and this mark may overestimate him.
Lightly raced gelding who has clearly not been easy to train. Will need to iron out the errors but claims on the pick of his hurdling form.
Won off a similar mark on his last run in a class four. Pulled up after a serious mistake last time and makes his chasing debut for a top yard.
Improved to win his final three starts last season and has shown this track suits his galloping style. Ran as though something was ailing him at Chepstow on chasing debut so worth a market check for positive signs.
Purchased for £135,000 after winning a Naas bumper. Has failed to fulfil expectations after early promise and he looks rather one paced.
Came good at this point last season but of form since. Little promise on last month's chasing bow and others preferred.
Has always looked the type to do better over fences and duly obliged last time. Up 8lb for that but probably has even more to offer.
Dual point-to-point winner who scored over hurdles at Hereford (2m3½f, heavy) in February by 21L. Ran better than her final position suggests last time and one for the shortlist.
Picked up her first race in three years when beating one other finisher in a poor event last time. Not unduly punished by the handicapper and hard to rule out on a track that will be better suited to her. Stable took this last year.
Chasing type who has rather lost his way since scoring at Bangor in March. Did not show enough on return to suggest he would be winning soon.
Lightly raced for one of his age but already a winner here over hurdles since. Has gone close enough on his last two starts over fences to be a contender on this stiffer circuit.
Merit in his Kempton second but failed to build on that last time. Has had issues in the past and needs to resolve them once more.
Some of his best performances have come at Exeter which has similar characteristics, but he has looked a better hurdler than chaser. A 1-20 record shows how hard he is to catch right, but this looks easier than recent assignments.
Winning point-to-pointer who showed some of that ability when fourth at the turn of the year. Has to prove his fitness but jockey booking takes the eye. In form stable have had two of their three previous runners in this make the frame.
Forecasts
Kayfleur (11/2), Somewhere To Be (11/2), Sir Will (6/1), Pink Gin (13/2), Atlantic Storm (15/2), Oneida Tribe (9/1), Indian Native (10/1), Bandon Roc (10/1), Say My Name (11/1), Another Frontier (14/1), Definitly Grey (16/1), Heroes Or Ghosts (20/1), Pine Warbler (20/1), Miss Tongabezi (40/1)
Oneida Tribe looks interesting off bottom weight with a top jockey engaged to ride for a small stable that have gone close in this in the past. He could go well at a price as could Say My Name who is dropped in class. Kayfleur has more to do than last time, but Pink Gin could go one better on a track placing less emphasis on speed. SOMEWHERE TO BE made a good start to his chasing career last time when landing a similar race off his hurdle rating. It has always looked the case that he would make a far better chaser and an 8lb rise for that victory may not be enough to stop him following up.
