Has run to a similar level on each of his three hurdling starts and clearly has the ability to land a run of the mill maiden such as this. Different tactics employed last time and similar expected again on a track placing less emphasis on speed.
Looks a real chasing type and no surprise to see him leave his bumper form behind when making his hurdling debut. That came after 11 months off and he would not have to improve by much to take this.
Cheap purchase who has shown little other than signs of temperament. Hard to see him making any significant impact.
Hurdling debutant has shown more than a glimmer of ability in bumpers. Stable are going well and the market should be informative
Ran below his usual level last time and even his best would probably leave him short of what will be required here.
Made little impression in Irish point-to-points (pulled-up both starts) and has so far made no progress in the two bumpers that he's run in. Looks one who will need time before we see anything from him.
Shock winner of a Kempton bumper who has made a satisfactory start to hurdling. Looked better going right-handed last time when also shaping as though a return to 2m would help further.
Has regressed on his last two starts and has shaped on both occasions as though he will struggle to stay this far on a track as demanding as this.
Made £60,000 after landing a Taylorstown point-to-point in May. Recorded the second fastest time of the day and the form looks fair. Has a stout pedigree and he will want further in due course.
Rated 90 on the Flat in his prime but has failed to shine at the winter game. Stable second string in this and readily passed over.
Two good efforts in bumpers and represents an in form yard with a 9-17 record with it's hurdlers here. Outran odds of 40/1 last time which probably reflected his obvious immaturity rather than a lack of ability.
Had his limitations exposed last time in a more truly run race. Tackles soft ground for the first time and others have more convincing claims.
Has shown little in two starts over hurdles and she looks the type who will need more time and a switch to handicapping before revealing her worth.
Has regressed since her bumper debut here in May. Tongue-tie now tried but it will still be a surprise if she improved enough to take this.
Fair stayer on the Flat whose last four runs all resulted in seconds and he has looked a tricky ride. Often travels well before finding little off the bridle but this new discipline may be the making of him.

Master Archer is an intriguing newcomer given his Flat form and a high cruising speed which will serve him well around here. His rider will have his hands full as he clearly has the gears but lacks a winning attitude. The Bottom Bar comes from a stable with an excellent record here. His bumper form is nothing special but he will have gained valuable experience for one who has looked so backward and the jumping game will be more his forte. AL SHAHIR could easily be dismissed as unreliable when looking at his form figures. However, he travelled well for a long way before finding the useful Kalshnikov too good at Wetherby and then finished clear of the third when runner-up last time. This stiff track may offset his lack of a telling finish and this looks a realistic opportunity for him. Awake At Midnight improved for the switch to hurdling and there is probably more to come as that was his first run for 11 months.
