A 25/1 surprise when winning a Chepstow maiden hurdle back in October (form looks decent) and then bit off more than he could chew in a Grade 2 at Ascot latest, though far from disgraced. Back in calmer waters here and obvious chance.
Bumper winner on debut at Market Rasen in March and off the mark over timber in 2m4f good-ground Uttoxeter novice contest last month. Second on handicap bow at Towcester (2m5f, good, good to soft) since and up 5lb now over longer trip.
Point-to-point winner on heavy ground in February and ran well on rules debut when third at Limerick (soft) in a 2m3f maiden hurdle in April. Still holding every chance four out when unseating on debut for this yard 12 days ago at Chepstow.
Two bumpers showed very little and his two hurdling efforts have hardly been any better. Jumped poorly last time out and struggled to keep up finishing well beaten; others preferred.
Four-year-old cost connections £25,000 and has won three point-to-points in his time, though something of a concern that he arrives here on the back of a 599-day layoff. Market check needed.
Beaten not long after half way in Chepstow bumper in April (good), this step up in trip is a positive but potentially best watched on jumping bow nonetheless.
Went close in sole Irish point-to-point and 8L second of eight on debut for new yard in a heavy-ground Ffos Las bumper last month. Interesting now switched to hurdling and one to pay attention to.
No threat on rules bow in a bumper at Plumpton this month on good to soft, beaten soon after half way. Tackles hurdles now with ambitions limited seemingly.
Beaten an awful long way in a novice hurdle here (2m2½f, good) and a maiden at Ffos Las (2m4f, heavy) already this winter and only a dramatic turnaround will see him in the mix over this longer journey.

WHO'S MY JOCKEY is likely to start a short price for this having run a good second in a handicap at Towcester recently. He has the champion jockey for assistance and ought to prevail not back amongst novices'. Polydora caused a shock at Chepstow in October and deserves respect as such, though he didn't build on it next time. Babytaggle and Ocean Cove appeals the best of the remainder.
