Won C&D debut by 2½L early last month. Runner-up Khwarizmi (re-opposes) won next time out to frank the form so this one is open to plenty of improvement although he probably needs to do just that with Khwarizmi's receipt of 15lb.

Found this C&D to his liking in last two starts, firstly chasing home It's Two O Clock then winning for the first time latest. Given the huge weight pull with the top horse he obviously has a good chance to reverse the form.

C&D second to Khwarizmi two starts ago her best run to date before finishing a 3¼L fifth in her first handicap start latest. Well out of the handicap and looks the outsider of the quartet.

Verdict

As impressive as It's Two O Clock was on debut he will surely find this task of giving 15lb to a horse he only beat by 2½L a tough one so KHWARIZMI gets the vote. While not as open to improvement on his fifth start David Marnane's charge does have a generally progressive profile himself. Boragh Steps can do better than she did on her handicap debut too after a short layoff.
