Progressive through her four-month, six start career. Dealt with 8lb rise for C&D win when only beaten 1L into third latest. Further 1lb rise today but given her improving nature she looks a leading player.
½L second over C&D latest reads well despite 2lb rise but he is far from consistent and that was his best run for a long time. If he follows it up he will go well again but just as likely to flop.
Weakened several times of late, all over further so this 6f trip should suit. Latest third here over 7f saw her lead 1f out. With a 4lb ease, first-time visor and drop in trip she has a host of reasons to be optimistic.
Beaten 18L when last behind Clare Island before again well behind that rival latest. Blinkers added but hard to advise of reversal with top horse.
12 races and two stable changes since his pair of wins early in the year. Back in trip now after being well beaten in both starts for current yard but hard to be optimistic at present.
Nine race maiden but ran well when finishing fourth over 1m at Bellewstown (good) on his penultimate outing. Well held subsequently and dropping in trip on his first outing in nearly two months from widest draw.
Best effort for a long time latest when third on second start for this yard having led from 2f-1f out over 7f. Drop in trip might prove ideal therefore and if in the same heart he has a good chance.
Significantly better off with Clare Island who he finished second to when last seen. Won at Laytown also two starts before and form on AW is exceptionally consistent so rates a leading candidate.
Unplaced in three maidens before C&D handicap debut last month where he was 11th of 14. Cheek-pieces added but hard to fancy.
Had several of these rivals behind here latest when second of 14 over 7f as a well-backed favourite. Also ran well time before over 5f so this could prove ideal and she rates a big player.
Form mostly been poor since lone win back in June. Handicap continues to fall and with it she has been running slightly better but still expected to struggle.
Solitary second in June 2016 was her lone placed run of a 14-race career. Handicap falling fast through four particularly average efforts this year but still hard to be confident.
Well behind Clare Island in his last two races and unplaced in eight career starts. Handicap falling but no real encouragement in his form to date.
4¼L behind Free To Roam latest when ninth of 14. Dropped 5lb now so can expect to close the gap with that rival although unlikely to reverse the placings.

Forecasts
Strategic Force (11/4), Clare Island (10/3), Free To Roam (5/1), Red All Star (6/1), Bluesbreaker (13/2), Baby Power (8/1), Power Of Ten (9/1), Nam (10/1), Blue Bounty (11/1), Oor Jock (14/1), Fashionable Man (16/1), Calypso Jo (16/1), Guiding Star (20/1), Scobias (20/1), Maysonette (20/1), Catwilldo (25/1), Madam Bounska (33/1)
No shortage of good candidates here but the lightly raced, clearly improving CLARE ISLAND gets the nod to defy top-weight. Red All Star is closely matched with the selection and with a weight pull in his favour has to rate a big danger. Free To Roam, Baby Power and Blue Bounty are all given chances with that the order of preference for the trio.
- Clare Island
- Red All Star
- Free To Roam
