Tailed off in three bumpers before being pulled up in a maiden hurdle. Switched to the Flat now but difficult to see him getting involved even in this relatively weak-looking maiden.

Unseated then finished last in two bumpers before finishing last of all (beaten 64L) over 1m4f at this course last time. No reason why the drop in trip should see him to any better effect.

Has finished second in three consecutive maidens now. This looks potentially easier, though, and he has the form to go close on his first run for this stable having left Paul Cole.

Sir Prancealot filly who cost £10,000 as a yearling, having been resold. Some nice form in her pedigree and this trip should be suitable for her first racecourse appearance.

Slightly disappointing when sent off a relatively short price on debut at Newcastle in November (finished fifth), but is clearly held in high regard and should improve on that effort here.

Has run okay in each of her five maidens so far, except at Newmarket in May when something may have been amiss. Possibly looking at a place at best here but could still get involved.

Forecasts

Wonderfillo (10/11), Pure Shores (9/4), Middle Creek (7/2), Crumblecreek (10/1), Motley Crew (28/1), Sutoor (100/1)

Verdict

Not the strongest of maidens, even for the AW, and MIDDLE CREEK is the suggestion. She is clearly well-regarded given she went off 6/4 on debut at Newcastle last time out, and even though she lost that wasn't a run devoid of promise. A better showing can be expected now in a race which may not take much winning. Wonderfillo has finished second on his last three starts and may fill that place again, while Crumblecreek is a relatively interesting newcomer.
