Beaten favourite over this trip at Southwell last time out in claiming company. That is an attractive piece of form in this context but he does have to concede weight all round.

Just 1/35 overall but has some good form on the AW recently and holds an advantage over his rivals based on ratings given the weight he carries here. Should go close for a top trainer.

0/30 overall and didn't show much on only previous attempt over this trip. Questions to answer even after running well in a Lingfield seller last time out.

Forecasts

Ballymore Castle (5/6), Bernie's Boy (9/4), Haraz (4/1), De Little Engine (8/1), Dream Start (12/1)

Verdict

Based on recent form and weights here BALLYMORE CASTLE looks the one to side with. Representing a top trainer in Richard Fahey he has run some nice races recently on the AW and is clear of the rest of these based on ratings. He should prove tough to beat, with De Little Engine likely to put up the biggest fight despite never really threatening in three maidens. Bernie's Boy has plenty on his plate off top weight but ran okay in a claimer at Southwell last time.
  1. Ballymore Castle
  2. De Little Engine
  3. Bernie's Boy
