Alflora gelding who Dam won twice in point-to-points, is a half-sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler (2m winner) Amaretto Rose. Notable newcomer.
Bach gelding is a half-brother to fair hurdler Courtlands Prince and has decent credentials on paper for good yard.
Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Wild Rhubarb and represents potent Olly Murphy / Richard Johnson combo on debut. Leading prospects.
Alflora gelding has some fair prospects on breeding and get a useful 7lb claim on his back that won't hurt cause on debut.
Kayf Tara gelding not an obvious winner in waiting first time out but yard amongst the winners lately and worth market check.
Hellvelyn gelding, doesn't make great appeal on paper, with dam a modest sort on the Flat, easier to look elsewhere.
Fragrant Mix gelding, not especially drawn to his credentials on paper, 7lb claim helps but probably best watched unless market says different.
Forecasts
A Book Of Intrigue (2/1), Potters Tale (5/2), General Custard (3/1), Bachy Baby (7/1), Mister Valentine (9/1), Echo Watt (16/1), Slumber Party (50/1)
A field of newcomers so the betting is likely to be worth noting but the eye is draw to GENERAL CUSTARD, who cost connections €78,000 and has potent Olly Murphy / Richard Johnson axis on his side. No surprise to see him going well. Local trainer Peter Bowen may have this targeted for Potters Tale while Bachy Baby and A Book Of Intrigue can also hold claims on paper.
- General Custard
- Bachy Baby
- A Book Of Intrigue
