Lightly raced in point-to-point she did win in that sphere and showed ability in her only bumper before being switched to hurdles winning on her debut after seven months off with a tongue tie fitted. Found out under a penalty in open novice company last time and better off back against her own sex.

Got off the mark in Irish point-to-points at the second attempt (beat subsequent hurdles winner) but not seen since then (March 2016). Now makes her debut over hurdles and for this yard and may well need this outing.

It took five attempts for her to score in Irish maiden point-to-points but did beat a subsequent dual winner when she did. Showed a fair bit on her hurdles debut last month at Warwick and may well be suited by this further increased trip.

For the most part her bumper and hurdles form looks fairly moderate but upped it trip she left behind her debut hurdles form last time at Plumpton. No chance with the useful 6L winner (Roksana) but there was plenty to like about the effort; will go close if repeating that run.
Stoutly-bred individual who ran well enough in bumpers despite the trip being on the short side for her. Ran well enough on her hurdles debut at Wetherby (beaten by favourite) and will be suited by this trip although she may need a little more time.

Forecasts

Oscar Star (13/8), Cabaret Queen (9/4), Hayley Belle (9/2), Our Belle Amie (5/1), Little Millie (12/1)

Verdict

A tricky little event where the trip will suit all of these better than the distances they have been running over so far. Cabaret Queen sets the form standard but the penalty may make life tough for her and OSCAR STAR is preferred having run well to be second at Plumpton recently under a patient ride. Our Belle Amie also enters the equation but may need a little more time along with Little Millie.
  1. Oscar Star
  2. Cabaret Queen
  3. Our Belle Amie
