Progressive sort for John Gosden last season, winning three times up to 1m6f, including on only previous AW start. Hasn't quite kicked on in a light campaign this year but interesting to see if his new yard can revive him. First run since July.
Dual winner in France and scored for this yard over 1m4f at Wolverhampton earlier in the year. Best effort since when going close over 1m6f there last time and this is longer trip is within his range. Hard to rule out.
Listed winner when trained in Italy (heavy ground) but largely ordinary form since moving to Britain, finishing a 7L third of five at Wolverhampton last time. Stiff task on official ratings and hard to fancy.
Twice a winner on the AW and went well over this C&D when a close up fourth of 20 in the Northumberland Plate. Another good effort to finish second in a decent handicap at Kempton last time so shapes as a player.
Boasts an impressive strike rate on the AW (8 from 17), but just the one appearance here (finished third). Stays 2m and remains in good form, having finished a runner-up at Chelmsford last month. Gets in off a favourable weight - respected.
Low mileage sort who won twice last season on turf and has shown up well to finish fourth in two pattern races this year (both over 1m4f). Still progressing and may prove the one to beat if this longer trip suits.
Two from three on AW including one here (1m2f) but he was a disappointing favourite over 1m4f here last time, having won readily at Wolverhampton the time before. Stamina query to answer having flopped on only previous appearance over 2m.

A decent contest in which Cohesion and Watersmeet both bring solid AW staying credentials to the table, whilst the former John Gosden-trained Cape Cova is one to monitor in the market on his first start for Mick Appleby. All that said, the best angle into this race may be to take a chance on the stamina of MOUNTAIN BELL. Ralph Beckett's lightly-raced gelding appeared to be crying out for a longer trip when a staying-on fourth in a 1m4f Kempton Listed event last month and, if seeing out the extra, he can exploit this drop in class.
