APPLE'S SHAKIRA stamped her authority on the Triumph Hurdle market when thumping her opposition on debut here last month and it will rank as a major surprise should she not prove up to the follow-up bid now. She was backed like a good thing on that occasion and had her race sewn up some way from home, beating a decent yardstick as she did. Nube Negra also made an impressive start for Dan Skelton at Market Rasen last month, pulling away from the re-opposing Knight Destroyer and further improvement makes her the likeliest threat to the selection.
