Winning for the first time on just his second handicap start when successful in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m3f at Clonmel (soft-to-heavy) last time out. One to note despite a 7lb rise in the weights.
C&D winner who finished runner-up off this mark here in August. Disappointed on his two most recent starts including here in October but worth a check in the market today.
13 race maiden but unexposed in handicap company having finished 18L sixth behind Poker Party at Clonmel on his handicap debut last time out. Wears a tongue tie for the first time today.
Maiden hurdle winner over 2m here in June last year. Best effort since came when finishing second of 17 at Clonmel (2m4f, soft) last time out and he races off a 2lb higher mark today.
Winner of six races the last three of which have come at Perth. Fair effort when fourth on heavy ground at Clonmel over fences last time out but finished well behind Poker Party over hurdles prior to that.
Winner of both starts since joining this yard earlier this year. The most recent of those came in a 2m handicap hurdle at Gowran Park (heavy) and she is one to note despite racing off a 9lb higher mark today.
Dual winner in autumn 2014 but well beaten on both starts since joining this yard and others make more appeal in this contest.
Down Royal (yielding-to-soft) bumper winner in March but well beaten in three starts over hurdles since including on handicap debut over an extended 2m6f at Thurles (soft) a fortnight ago.
Finished third in a handicap hurdle over 2m on good ground here in April. Races off a 7lb lower mark today following some heavy defeats subsequently and he has failed to convince on two previous attempts at 2m4f+.
Successful in a 2m handicap hurdle at Thurles (soft-to-heavy) in March for Jonathan Fogarty. Well held since including on four starts for this yard.
Forecasts
Poker Party (4/1), Roja Dove (4/1), Hanover Street (11/2), Dazzling Sarah (11/2), Chateauneuf Du Pap (7/1), Coole Craft (8/1), Burning Issues (12/1), Mister First (14/1), War Of The Pennys (16/1), Charle Brune (20/1)
ROJA DOVE is in the form of her life at present and she can complete a hat-trick since joining trainer Peter Fahey in this competitive looking handicap hurdle. The selection has to defy a 9lb rise for her latest victory and is taken to get the better of fellow last time out winner Poker Party. Of the remainder Hanover Street ran well last time out and can claim third on this occasion.
- Roja Dove
- Poker Party
- Hanover Street
