Dual point-to-point winner but cut little ice in three rules starts prior ito finishing 32L third at Thurles (2m7f, heavy) on debut for this yard last month. Drop in trip not certain to suit.
Placed on six of her 13 starts to date including when finishing runner-up at Cork (yielding-to-soft) on her penultimate outing. Disappointed since but has run well here in the past.
Finished a close third in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Clonmel (soft) last month. Pulled up stepping up in trip at Punchestown subsequently and is one to note in this contest.
Well beaten in all three outings to date including on hurdling debut last time out. Likely to prove of more interest once tackling handicaps.
Failed to figure in two bumpers so far most recently when last of eight at Cork (2m, soft) last month. Others make more appeal on hurdling debut.
Signs of ability in two bumpers finishing third on debut at Limerick (2m, heavy) nearly a year ago and then fifth at Fairyhouse the following month. Making her hurdling debut following nearly 11 months off the track.
Unraced daughter of Golan purchased for €600 as a foal in November 2012. Probably best watched on her racecourse debut.
Point-to-point winner on good ground in April but well held in two maiden hurdle outings so far and probably best watched at present.
Maiden on the Flat but signs of improvement in two maiden hurdle outings so far. Wears a hood for the first time and she is an interesting runner today.
Shaped as if a drop in trip would suit when finishing fifth in a point-to-point at Dromahane (soft) last month. Interesting to see how she fares on her rules debut.
Finished runner-up in a competitive hurdle at Fontainebleau (2m2f, very soft) on the second of two outings in France for Guillaume Macaire in the spring. Has joined a leading stable and is one for the shortlist on her Irish debut.
Well held in two outings so far most recently on hurdling debut at Fairyhouse (2m2f, soft) earlier this month. Others make more appeal.
Finished down the field in a bumper in March and registered a similar result on hurdling debut at Cork (2m, good) the following month. Likely best watched at present.
Placed twice over 1m4f on the Flat but finished well beaten on hurdling debut at Punchestown (2m4f, soft-to-heavy) last month and has unseated on the Flat since.
Forecasts
Laurina (1/4), Good To Flow (7/1), Glebe Girl (8/1), Clementina (14/1), Bee A Beneficiary (16/1), Mag Brady (20/1), Siempre Amigos (33/1), Lady Rococo (50/1), Be My Westerner (66/1), Nancy Maher (100/1), Shadows Return (100/1), Granny Ryle (100/1), Just Klass (125/1), Winning Dream (125/1)
LAURINA ran well on her final start in France and she is taken to make a winning Irish debut for leading trainer Willie Mullins today. The forecast heavy ground shouldn't inconvenience the selection and she is taken to get the better of Good To Flow who can put a disappointing latest effort behind her by claiming second today whilst Mag Brady can take third following a couple of promising bumper efforts last season.
- Laurina
- Good To Flow
- Mag Brady
