Hit a purple patch during the spring, but a flattering run at Epsom from out of the weights has seen him hit hard by the handicapper since.
Has won here five times including two conditions races last winter. Went well here on return from a break before underperforming at Chelmsford. Chances off this mark if this track sparks another inspired effort.
Has a 3-5 record on this circuit including two over C&D. Current mark asks a lot and she has a seven month absence to overcome and has previously needed that first run back.
Triple C&D winner but out of form lately and handicapper has been slow to react. Faces another tough ask and from a poor draw too.
Obvious chances off this mark if market indicates he is ready to perform after 15 months on the sidelines.
Has six AW victories to his name at other tracks. Landed a gamble in January and hit hard by the handicapper since and remains 11lb above that mark. Off six months and has previously improved for a run.
Won with something in hand last time when the drop to 7f paid off. Up in class here and new mark demands further improvement.
Looked useful last year and won at Ascot in this grade. Had some tough tasks subsequently and has obviously had problems leading to a year's absence. Struck into on return and has the early speed to overcome a poor draw. Not to be underrated.
Bounced back to score at Chelmsford in a weaker race than this and held on both starts since. Faces another stiff task here.
Handicap mark is looking attractive but he seems better on slower surfaces than this and also shorter distances. Would be competitive if dispelling those doubts.
Has dropped 15lb in the weights since last winter and this mark looks highly attractive. Will be fitter for his return to action two weeks ago and cheekpieces are refitted. Best form has come over shorter but this will be his easiest task at 7f.
Ran well on penultimate start when getting the run of the race up front and failed to stay last time. Nicely drawn but there is competition for the lead and this may be a race that is set up for a late finisher.
Triple C&D winner has a 9lb pull with Pearl Spectre on running here in March. Dropped 5lb since a good third over C&D in November and poorly drawn on both starts since. Will get the strong pace he needs and he could well deliver from a good draw.

There are ifs and buts about most of these. Makaarim is the only one who appears to have proven he is at his peak but he needs to improve again off his revised mark. Alfred Hutchinson, Kadrizzi and Right Touch are attractively weighted if the market suggests they are ready to deliver. Gallipoli was a close sixth in this last year having struggled to handle the track but if connections have learned something from the experience he threatens to go close. There should be a strong pace in this which will set things up nicely for SHYRON. The C&D specialist has been given a chance by the handicapper following two runs at Chelmsford from poor draws. He can produce a big run at rewarding odds back on this circuit and from a good draw.
