It's going on for three years since his only win over hurdles, though he has run some decent races in defeat since then. Handles deep ground, but with stable reasonably quiet he is probably one to watch on his chase debut against two decent sorts.

Only three turn up for this but it could still be a really good race, particularly with the top two in mind. AMI DESBOIS loves it around here and is 2-2 at the track, so despite slight concerns about the stable's form compared to the recent good run of Rose Dobbin, he just gets the vote over Jonniesofa, for whom the ground would ideally want to be heavy. There should not be much to choose between the pair. Chase debutante A Vos Gardes looks like having to wait for another day.
