Ran well in last two starts when switched to handicaps at the end of last season. Seems ground versatile and clearly on a mark where he is competitive so his chances revolve around how ready he is for this seasonal reappearance.
Midfield in handicap debut last month at Uttoxeter after a summer break. Eased slightly by handicapper but still looks high enough in the weights and soft ground could be a concern (fell in only previous soft ground race).
Showed next to nothing in first three starts over hurdles although latest fourth of 13 was better albeit he was beaten 26L. Switched to handicap for first time but plenty of doubts off this mark.
Beaten 50L and 20L respectively in two handicap starts to date, Drop in trip should help however as will further ease in handicap. Expecting a better effort today.
First start for this yard today and on some pieces of form he would have a squeak. Only beaten 6L when last on these shores in July and 5lb lower now so mark of some appeal although he is a maiden of 18 starts.
Only beat one home in first handicap hurdle at Kelso and was tailed off throughout latest at Hexham. Handicap mark falling but not seen enough to suggest he is competitive now.
Little to get excited about in three maiden hurdles but better effort in final start, a handicap at Ayr where she was third of six. Eased 3lb and could go well if fit enough for return.
Returned from over a year off with three encouraging runs for new trainer. Latest second at Market Rasen his best effort to date and although he is up in weight again he looks sure to go close.
Forecasts
Teescomponents Max (5/2), Charmant (7/2), Ardview Boy (6/1), Kitty Power (6/1), Hit And Run (8/1), Indian Reel (8/1), Monsieur Murphy (10/1), Rockliffe (16/1)
TEESCOMPONENTS MAX can take advantage of a feather weight in a very ordinary contest. He ran well at Uttoxeter and Market Rasen last month and should handle a 3lb rise in handicap. At the other end of the weights Charmant makes some appeal after good efforts to end last season at Carlisle and Wetherby so if he is forward enough he should go well. Kitty Power is another making her seasonal return and she too could play a part if fit enough.
