Progressive mare last year winning a couple of handicaps and taking her form to a new level when finishing second in Listed and Grade 2 company travelling well on each occasion. Ended the season on a low note when disappointing in Grade 1 at Cheltenham; tough and genuine sort.
Dual hurdles winner last season taking well to the discipline and has also won on the Flat. Showed the benefit of a run on the Flat when running well off 3lb lower on her hurdling return in October but below-par in Listed company last time.
Took well to hurdles last season (won three on the spin late last year) and ran some creditable races in handicaps thereafter. Ran as well as could be expected last time out in Listed company at Wetherby but no match for the principals.
A winner in bumpers she's taken well to hurdles winning her last two and showing improved form on her handicap debut at Sandown last time. Made plenty of use last time out (coped well with soft ground) and sure to be of interest despite the 10lb higher mark.
Finally got things right over hurdles when winning at Taunton in April (settled better than usual) and looked as though she may go on from that. Given a break though and ran a lifeless race last time (easy to back) and has questions to answer here.
Both her latest hurdles wins came over a year ago now off lower marks and her latest two runs would suggest that the handicapper has her measure now. Runs from out of the handicap here and looks to have a tough task.

A couple of these have flown a little higher than handicaps of late and this looks to be a fascinating little contest. Midnight Jazz has won when fresh before so a long absence may not be a handicap and her form last year was certainly good enough to win this. Giveaway Glance needs to bounce back from a below-par effort last time and it may well be that MARIA'S BENEFIT can make race fitness count even off a 10lb higher mark. Late Night Lily deserves a mention also returned to handicaps which look more her sphere.
