Appears to have a stiff task at these weights given how he's run in a bumper and over hurdles. Pulled-up last time out having started at 33/1 and despite the drop in grade easily passed over here.

Stuccodorb,t12
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-4| J: P J Brennan| T: Mrs S Leech| OR:  104
11/1
Did show some reasonable form when trained in Ireland but remains a maiden over hurdles having looked to regress in this sphere. Failed to stay when showing a little more last time out in a novice hurdle and blinkers tried again now down in grade.
3

Royal Beekeeperp15
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR:  108
11/8
Managed to win a Stratford seller for this yard in November when favourite and looked to have produced an improved effort on handicap debut last time (travelled well). Did display some temperament though and his finishing effort was disappointing and one to be wary of.

Appreciated the drop to selling grade when winning at Stratford in October and looked to maintain that form when only beaten by a couple of better weighted rivals in a Huntingdon claimer. Doesn't have that problem here and should make a bold bid.

Go On Henryp,t9
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-8| J: Mr Ed Bailey(7)| T: M Sheppard| OR:  91| C
28/1
Well beaten on his only start over hurdles so far this looks to be confidence builder after he's failed to complete on his last two chase starts here. Has won over fences here in October but faces a stiff task at the weights in this.

Grecian King212
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-8| J: Adam Wedge| T: Laura Morgan
100/1
Was only a modest maiden on the Flat and showed very little for David Barron in three runs on the level last year. Sold for just £800 to his current connections it can only be a watching brief on hurdles debut.

Sandy Coveb15
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-8| J: David England| T: O Murphy| OR:  97
12/1
Trainer has made a good start to his career but he may have work on his hands to turn this one around who has looked an awkward sort in two runs so far. Blinkers retained this time around dropped in grade but hardly has the most appetising profile overall.

Forecasts

Iniesta (6/5), Royal Beekeeper (11/8), Stuccodor (11/1), Sandy Cove (12/1), Go On Henry (28/1), Taken By Force (100/1), Grecian King (100/1)

Verdict

Only a low grade start to the card and it looks to give INIESTA a good chance to get back to winning ways with his attitude looking far better than his main rival Royal Beekeeper. He looked a really awkward ride last time and although he has ability (at this level) he looks to have temperament to match. Sandy Cove is respected because of the yard more than anything while Stuccodor may find this shorter trip more suitable and is given a place chance.
  1. Iniesta
  2. Stuccodor
  3. Royal Beekeeper
