Diamond Pursuit gained a second career success last time when dropped into this grade but faces a stiff task under a 6lb penalty. That looks even harder given that FIRE ORCHID is due to go up 4lb after this. That follows an improved effort last time on her handicap debut and she could provide Richard Hannon with another winner. Lady Jayne is another to have improved on her handicap debut. That form has been working out well and she could take advantage of her low weight and handy draw. Corazon Espinado is an expensive purchase for his yard and on handicap debut he may prove better than we have seen. He would be one to note in pre-race trading.
