Fortuitous winner at Taunton in March (left in lead close home) and shaped as if needing the run when fourth of six at Southwell in October. Likely to be much closer to full tilt now.
Now 11-years-old and signs in three runs over fences/hurdles this autumn that time is catching up on him, hard to recommend on that recent evidence.
Won three times over fences in 2015/16 for Dan Skelton but hasn't been able to replicate that form since joining current handler. Shaped with more promise on reappearance at Sedgefield and sports first-time visor now.
0-12 so far, failed to build on decent chasing debut over this sort of trip at Plumpton in April, looked in need of the run at Bangor in October and has potential for better in first-time visor on fourth chase start.
Unable to add to 2014 bumper win but remains relatively low mileage at seven-years-old and shaped with some degree of promise over C&D on return from 239 days off last time. May have some quirks.
Not the most reliable and sometimes flatters to deceive in a finish but on a very workable mark now and has shaped with some promise at Cartmel in July and last month at Ffos Las. Remains risky for win purposes.
Most recent win came here over hurdles in March 2016 but succession of disappointing efforts since, including back here last month over timber. Blinkers now applied on chase return and has plenty to work on seemingly.
Forecasts
Yourholidayisover (11/4), Bajardo (3/1), Lovely Bubbly (7/2), Gin And Tonic (8/1), Brother Bennett (8/1), Ulis De Vassy (8/1), Changing The Guard (12/1)
Bajardo was a fortunate scorer at Taunton in March but should now be fit and raring to go having looked in need of the run at Southwell last time. Similar sentiments apply to Lovely Bubbly on his Bangor comeback while Brother Bennett showed some promise over C&D 13 days ago and could build on it. ULIS DE VASSY has not been able to show the form he displayed for Dan Skelton since joining current connections but his latest effort at Sedgefield was a step in the right direction and with a visor added now, he's on a workable mark if building on that reappearance run.
- Ulis De Vassy
- Bajardo
- Brother Bennett
