Only fair form in three bumpers but left that well behind when beating a subsequent winner at Hexham last month. Penalty to defy here but extra 4f should help to offset that so he looks sure to go close.
Beat four rivals in total in as many runs in bumpers. Very limited evidence of ability and can't see him getting involved on hurdles debut.
Ran respectably on stable debut when second at Sedgefield over 2m5f and the winner has won again since under a penalty. Leading jockey takes over now and a bold bid can be expected.
Beaten 25L and 24L in two novice hurdles here this Autumn, his only two starts. This at least as strong as those races so hard to see him playing a leading role.
Won a Punchestown point-to-point back in February and was subsequently purchased fro £22,000 by current connections. That win worked out well so could be a smart recruit and expected to go well here on rules debut.
Won bumpers at Thurles and Perth last season before losing unbeaten record on hurdles bow at Wetherby last month. Ran a respectable enough race there in fourth despite jumping errors so if he tidies those up he could go close.
Over two year absence between his two outings to date. Good second in lone point-to-point in April 2015 before a one paced fourth at Ayr last month. Needs significantly more here and future likely to lie over further.
Won both bumper starts last winter and was still going well when falling four out on hurdles debut at Ayr. Otherwise jumped well enough there so hopefully be no repeat and he remains a potentially smart prospect.
Unplaced in four starts to date and behind Shtan On at Ayr who wouldn't appear one of the more likely candidates himself here so hard to fancy this mare.

UNCLE ALISTAIR is worth another chance in a warm novice hurdle by Carlisle standards. Nicky Richards' five year old showed high class form in bumpers last term and was travelling strongly until coming to grief four out at Ayr. Hopefully he can get a clear round here and he will take some beating of doing so. The main danger may prove to be Go Go Lucas who beat a subsequent winner on hurdles debut at Hexham and he is respected despite a penalty. Blunder Buss is another who rates a danger after a good run at Sedgefield which has already been franked by the winner.
