Former C&D winner and has two wins from five starts this year. Back here off a layoff, a big run is not ruled out and very much one to pay attention to in betting.
Once promising sort in the care of Richard Fahey but going round the houses a bit now and yet to serve any notice that he'll take advantage of declining handicap mark.
Winner of previous two starts at this track, latest coming over 1m6f and representing a career-best effort. Back down in trip now and carrying 3lb extra but should be in the firing line again when it matters.
Justified being well supported when winning at Newcastle over 1m2f in early September and again ran well over the same C&D on his penultimate start (caught near finish). Disappointed when well fancied here last time and faces longer journey now.
In fair form on turf this year, including win over 1m6f (good to soft) at Redcar in October, having just a third AW start now and yet to show a real liking for this sphere.
Former C&D winner, that success came four years ago. Not a lot of miles on the clock for a nine-year-old but recent efforts still tend to suggest best days are in the past.
Well held in recent outings and hard to fancy on form. Handicapper is offering some hope however and cheekpieces are added now.
Sole victory to date came over 1m1½f here in January off this rating, bit to prove on recent efforts and tackling this trip for the first time but clearly not one to discount.
Has only had seven starts and caught the eye on debut for this yard at Doncaster (1m2f, good to soft) recently when fourth of 19 in competitive handicap off a layoff. Runs from same mark and has scope to do plenty better.
Maiden after ten starts for Mick Halford in Ireland. Makes Tapeta/handicap debut on first outing for new handler and worth paying attention to in betting as such.
Losing run is out to 17 now and dates back to 2015, fair effort over this trip at Lingfield in October however and handicapped to go well if building on that run.
Kempton maiden winner over 1m4f in January but disappointing in handicap company since. Dropped 5lb for his latest effort and worth a check in the market today.
Forecasts
Hussar Ballad (4/1), Ingleby Hollow (5/1), My Brother Mike (6/1), Tan Arabiq (8/1), Deeley's Double (8/1), Favorite Girl (8/1), Rum Swizzle (16/1), Dolphin Village (20/1), Mister Fizz (20/1), Belabour (33/1), Best Example (66/1), Ice Canyon (100/1)
Former C&D scorer Favorite Girl commands respect here, especially if there are positive vibes in the betting off a layoff. HUSSAR BALLAD scored last time out at this track over a longer trip and, while 3lb higher now, shouldn't have any troubles with this trip and didn't appeared to be stretched to the pin of his collar last time. He likes this place and should run a big race. Best Example shaped better at Lingfield last time and is on a very workable mark if building on it while Deeley's Double is very much respected on the back of an excellent reappearance at Doncaster off this rating.
