Work to be done based on efforts at Lingfield and Kempton over a mile so far this autumn, may do better once achieving a mark.
60,000 gns gelded son of Zoffany out of a dam who was a Listed winner in Germany. Didn't run badly over 1m at Newbury in October (beaten just over 6L having raced prominently and faded), entitled to improve for that run.
Gelded since running too bad to be true when highly-tried in a Listed event last time but had placed in each of his first three starts over 6f and clearly sets the standard. Stamina query to answer on first attempt over 7f.
Lawman colt not without a chance on pedigree but yard aren't noted for sending out winning newcomers.
Helmet colt was acquired for 80,000 gns earlier in the year, hints of speed in pedigree and will be sporting a hood on debut. Could run well.
Dubawi colt out of a Grade 1 winner in Canada, holds an entry for the Derby and, while yard have been quiet lately, isn't being set an impossible task on debut. Notable newcomer.
Oasis Dream colt, dam a winner and half-sister to Group 3 winner Say. Yard's juveniles tend to need the run on debut in more recent times; and was duly beaten around 10L on Newbury debut (6f, good) in September. Should be more to come.
Oasis Dream cost 475,000 gns as a yearling and is out of a Group 3 winner, represents yard with 37% strike rate with two-year-olds so far in 2017 and has to be respected on debut.
Helmet filly whose dam was an unraced half-sister to 7f Listed winner Emboss, in capable hands and merits a second glance on debut.

Jellmood just about sets the standard on his best efforts but he's potentially got his own ideas and will need the gelding operation to have sharpened his mind. The Appleby-trained newcomer Swiss Knight merits maximum given the stunning record of juveniles from that yard this season while Imperial Red ran well for a long way on debut at Newbury and should now be fitter. REFRAIN is entered in the next summer's Derby and represents loft connections on debut, he could be worth chancing to make a winning start in what isn't a the deepest race.
