Successful four times over fences but disappointing in two outings since winning off this mark at Wetherby (1m7f, good-to-soft) in January. Likely to have improved for October's seasonal debut.
Held in three outings since finishing runner-up in a Grade 2 novice chase at Ayr (good) in the spring. Early casualty in a valuable handicap chase at Cheltenham (soft) last time out and drops in grade today.
Running well without winning in recent starts and finished third in a Listed handicap chase over 2m1f at Ascot (good) last time out. Interesting runner in this contest.
Victorious over 2m at Warwick (soft) but struggled in a Grade 2 novice contest subsequently. Races off a mark 9lb higher than for that Warwick success on today's seasonal debut.
Placed off this mark the last twice most recently when third on soft ground at Aintree when making his seasonal debut last month. One for the shortlist in this contest.
Victorious five times including on soft ground here as a novice back in 2014. Held twice since winning at Uttoxeter (good) in July and others make more appeal.
Recorded his second win in three chase starts when winning on soft ground at Aintree last month. Races off a 3lb higher mark today and remains open to improvement.
Winning for the first time over fences when successful over 2m4f at Uttoxeter (soft) in April. Beaten when unseating his rider on last months seasonal debut and more needed today.
Bidding for a hat-trick over fences when pulled up in a race won by Festive Affair over 2m at Uttoxeter (good) back in July. Returning from a five month absence today.
Completed a hat-trick when victorious over an extended 1m7f at Sandown (good-to-soft) in March.. Disappointing since but signs of a possible return to form when fourth at Cheltenham (good-to-soft) last time out.
Forecasts
Overtown Express (7/2), Baby King (4/1), Duke Of Navan (5/1), Marracudja (6/1), Theinval (7/1), Rock On Rocky (12/1), Dream Bolt (12/1), Just Cameron (12/1), Greybougg (14/1), Festive Affair (20/1)
DUKE OF NAVAN ran well at Aintree on seasonal debut and he can go two better than when third on that occasion to take this concluding contest. The selection races off the same mark today and is taken to get the better of Overtown Express who returns to handicap company for today's seasonal debut while last months Aintree winner Baby King can finish third on this occasion.
- Duke Of Navan
- Overtown Express
- Baby King
