Won fairly easily on hurdling debut at Market Rasen last time after picking up some good form in point-to-points and bumpers. Should be suited by the ground/trip and interesting in a tougher race under a penalty.
Makes her British debut and her first start for almost two years having had two starts in France two seasons ago. Has the lay-off to overcome but is an interesting recruit for her trainer.

Never seriously threatened in any of her four bumpers and needs to find plenty of improvement for the switch to hurdles (and step up in trip) here in order to have a say.
4
Horse silk
3/1
Ran a solid race in her only bumper after winning a point-to-point, both this year. Should improve for this step up in trip and holds strong claims.
Showed improvement on her second start over hurdles last time to finish second at Ludlow in a race with a very slow early tempo. This may be a different challenge but she has to form to be on the premises.
6
Horse silk
33/1
Well-beaten in four bumpers and has a mountain to climb on her first start for this trainer if she were to go close on this debut over obstacles.
7
Horse silk
8/1
Off the track for almost two years following a couple of fair performances in bumpers. That form leaves her with something to find with the best of these, though, even before considering the lay-off.

Forecasts

Redemption Song (9/4), Jet Set (3/1), Majestic Moll (7/2), Blue Valentine (6/1), Viking Queen (8/1), Doctor Thea (12/1), Shiroccodee (33/1)

Verdict

Jet Set is unexposed and ran a nice race on hurdling debut last time when looking sure to improve for this longer trip, but preference is for REDEMPTION SONG under a penalty. It was impossible not to be impressed with the way Kevin Frost's mare won at Market Rasen last time, and though this could prove to be a tougher race she has the potential to make it two from two over hurdles after running well in bumpers last season. Blue Valentine is an interesting recruit for Harry Whittington and worth a market check.

  2. Jet Set
  3. Blue Valentine
