Former Nicky Henderson-trained gelding who won on his fifth start for his current handler at Wetherby last time. Has gone up 9lb for that success, but every reason to expect a bold show with conditions to suit.
Ran well to finish second to Days Of Heaven in a valuable Uttoxeter contest in May, but not so good when last seen at Perth in July. Break may have done him good and he remains on a feasible mark.
Was in a rich vein of form until pulling up after making much of the running at Ascot last time. Reunited with the jockey who won twice on him in late summer, but has work to do with Nicolas Chauvin on Wetherby form.
Failed to get his head in front in five starts for Harry Whittington. Has his first run for this trainer with cheekpieces fitted for the first time and has quite a long absence to overcome.
Won three handicaps on the spin earlier this year, but the handicapper had his say and he has had to settle for minor honours on his last two starts. Has gone up 5lb for his latest second placing and will need a career-best display to land this.
Consistent over hurdles and fences since joining current stable and ran well off this mark to be a close fourth in a 2m4f Warwick handicap chase last time. Return to 2m on good ground should help and he should be in the mix.
Grand old campaigner who usually runs his race, but has been finding life tough on recent starts despite falling down the weights. He is 2lb out of the handicap and looks to have it all to do.

Forecasts
No Ceiling (13/8), Welcome Ben (4/1), Valseur Du Granval (9/2), Little Pop (7/1), Nicolas Chauvin (11/1), Chestnut Ben (12/1), Ink Master (16/1), Blandfords Gunner (22/1)
Nicolas Chauvin bounced back to form when beating Little Pop at Wetherby last time and should confirm the form, but preference is for NO CEILING, who can be relied on to run his race and will appreciate the return to 2m and a sound surface. Valseur Du Granval and Welcome Ben also enter the equation.
- No Ceiling
- Nicolas Chauvin
- Little Pop
