C&D winner here in March, which counts for plenty in a weak event such as this. Only 5lb higher here, and may well strip fitter for a recent run here at the beginning of the month. Drops in grade too, and has more going for him than most.
Not a bad effort at Catterick at the beginning of the year, but two subsequent efforts haven't come anywhere near to matching it. Visor now reached for, and he drops in grade, so may do better, but clearly comes with plenty of risk now.
Long time since she won once (have to go back to 2015) but these conditions ideal, and she's another that takes a drop in grade after some moderate runs. Handicapper giving her a real chance if she can bounce back now, so not discounted.
Well into the veteran stage now, better class than this at best and chucked in off this much lower hurdles mark if, by some chance, refind some form. Did win a point-to-point back in March, so some hope of that. Not totally ruled out.
Sent off big prices most starts to date, and hasn't really looked like winning any of his eight starts. Doing no better for going into handicaps and hard to fancy.
Made all to win at Cartmel in June over a slightly shorter trip than today's, but hasn't looked like repeating that since. Early casualty over fences last time, so reversion to hurdles no bad thing, but others make more appeal today.
A regular in these low-grade staying handicap hurdles, and won in a similar event to today's at Bangor in 2016. Always the chance he could nick another, and conditions fine here, but not that hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Long time since he's shown anything like a piece of solid form, and handicapper already dropping him in the weights. Absence to overcome as well and he looks a most unlikely winner, unless market says otherwise.
Only four so may progress, but she'll need to as she's shown next to nothing to suggest she's up to winning even this moderate event. No realistic chance of success.

The first of two divisions of the staying handicap hurdle, and for this one, it may pay to look at the class-droppers towards the top of the handicap. MINNIE MILAN might be the one able to take advantage of the handicapper's generosity in dropping her another 5lb and she didn't run quite as badly as her form suggested last time. This is undoubtedly easier and she can bounce back. The Wise One probably needed his comeback effort to blow the cobwebs away, and may prove to be the main danger. Court Baloo isn't the quickest but he is at least likely to run his race, and can take third.
