First run for new yard, only minor form shown in point-to-points so far and likely we won't see the best of him until getting more of a trip and some fences.
Needs to learn to settle better, but does seem to be getting the hang of things based on his staying-on fifth here last time out. Needs a lot more to trouble the principals here, though, so best watched.
Bit disappointing when well fancied at Sedgefield last time out, fading a bit too quickly for comfort, but earlier length second to the useful Barton Knoll at Wetherby a very solid effort. Needs to bounce back but every chance if doing so.
Winner on debut at Perth (bumper) in June, showing a good attitude, and far from disgraced when tried in a better race at Cheltenham earlier in the month. Every chance of progression and if hurdling fluently here, can't be ruled out.
Hasn't done anything in point-to-points to suggest he's going to be troubling the principals here. No realistic chance of success.
Has found himself racing in much stronger company than this lately and won't find anything of the quality of Slate House here, as he did at Cheltenham last time. One of the main players on form and with trip and ground fine, holds every chance here.
Going nowhere fast formwise at present, never really getting in it at Kelso last time out and will surely be better off in low-grade handicaps once getting a mark.
No immediate promise to be taken from his bumper debut at Perth in June and needs to have progressed plenty for the break he's had since.
First run for new yard (formerly with Dermot Weld) and brings some solid form to the table, having finished in the frame behind some useful sorts in maiden/novice company in Ireland. Trip and ground possibly not ideal but big chance nevertheless.
Starting to look a little disappointing after earlier promise (for another yard) in bumpers, although this better ground may help her cause. Still needs huge improvement from somewhere though, and hard to see where it's coming from.
Forecasts
Silver Concorde (11/10), Point Of Principle (3/1), Mighty Thunder (13/2), Judge Earle (7/1), Boy's On Tour (14/1), Okey Dokey (14/1), Ballycrystal Court (20/1), Rose Tree (33/1), Royal Summit (66/1), Rooster Spirit (100/1)
Silver Concorde and POINT OF PRINCIPLE both bring some good form to the table here, and preference is just for the latter, for whom conditions should be ideal. That can't quite be said of Silver Concorde, who may want it a bit softer than this, but has to be given plenty of respect. Judge Earle looks the other to consider, but he does have to put a below-par effort last time out behind him.
