Her form is very patchy but her third to the useful Champagne City at Kelso in May a decent effort, and heavy ground may have been a ready excuse on her comeback run at Ayr earlier in the month. Chance if on a going day.
Only moderate but knew how to win on the Flat when the chances came, and there wasn't much wrong with her first hurdles effort when only just touched off at Carlisle. Conditions fine here and must go close if repeating that.
Really starting to get the hang of things and has won back-to-back bumpers, travelling well before successful at Kelso last time. Every chance of a debut hurdles success if fit for her reappearance after a break today.
Second start for new yard, pulled too hard at Perth on debut for them but still performed credibly, and this drop back in trip probably a smart move. Better ground here may help too, so she's not discounted in a tricky event.
Form has become progressively worse, well beaten off at Ayr once headed last time, so needs the combination of a tongue-tie and better ground here to have a major effect.
Not shown much so far, but half-sister Little Acorn did better once seeing some hurdles, which gives hope there's better to come. Needs improvement but in good hands and a better showing here wouldn't surprise.
Forecasts
Canny Style (6/4), Heartasia (5/2), Simone (10/3), Boogie Life (8/1), Speedbird One (16/1), Whiteoak Stroller (20/1), Carta Blanca (50/1)
You can make a case for a few of these, and deciding between them isn't that easy. HEARTASIA looked a filly of some promise when taking two bumpers - never an easy thing to do - in the summer and if fit, could be the one to beat. Canny Style holds an obvious chance after her excellent debut effort and should be thereabouts. Simone and Whiteoak Stroller will both do better too.
