Has been trying her luck, without success, over fences, and now reverts to timber. It remains to be seen if her speed has been blunted, and she has plenty to do at the weights.
Good second at Listowel a couple of starts ago, but did not reach anything like that level of form at Thurles last time. Down 1lb and can figure if bouncing back.
Won a Roscommon maiden hurdle over a year ago, but has failed to get her head in front over hurdles and fences since then. Fitted with cheekpieces for the first time and step up in trip could suit for this winning pointer.
Has the habit of hitting the frame in maiden and handicap company, but has become frustrating from a win perspective and connections reach for a hood in a bid to find the key. This greater stamina test could help.
Stays well so this trip will pose no problem. Up 6lb for latest of two wins at Down Royal and is one of the more interesting contenders.
Returned to form with a good third at Clonmel last time, suggesting the extra distance of this contest would suit. Up 1lb, but looks a major player with leading jockey booked.
Put some disappointing efforts behind her when winning over 2m4f at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago. Longer trip not an issue, but 6lb higher mark could be.
Still without a win over hurdles after nine attempts, but recent efforts have not been without merit and she finds herself on a career-low handicap rating. Has an each-way squeak.
Only hints of promise in bumpers and maiden hurdles. Makes her first start in handicap company and needs to take a step forward to figure.
Approaching the veteran stage and her level of performance seems to be suffering as she does so. Has won off 2lb lower, but others look more convincing.
Won a maiden point-to-point two starts ago, but latest effort in a handicap hurdle did not suggest a victory over timber was imminent. Plenty to do off only 2lb lower.
On a huge losing streak and recent displays suggest little is going to change in that respect. Impossible to make a case for.
Forecasts
Queeny (7/2), Gracemount (9/2), Good To Flow (5/1), Alaliya (6/1), Golden Flowerpower (8/1), Open To The World (10/1), Nerual (14/1), Allez Kal (16/1), Star Counsel (16/1), Western Goose (20/1), Daisy Chicks (20/1), Carrow Queen (20/1)
A line can be placed through a few of these, but Alaliya and GOOD TO FLOW do not fall into that category and the latter gets a narrow vote. She ran like a filly about to strike peak form last time and can shrug off a 1lb rise over this longer trip. Open To The World and Queeny may also get involved, while cases can be made for Nerual, Golden Flowerpower and Gracemount.
- Good To Flow
- Alaliya
- Open To The World
