Landed a couple of minor races this summer but has been found out in his last two. A lack of pace in those races may have been a factor and he is usually well supported ahead of his better runs.
Twice a winner over hurdles but it's not really happened for him over fences yet. Worth another try at his sort of trip but he has not travelled well in his last two starts, despite attractive looking marks. Tongue-tie on for first time.
Down to her last winning mark but stopped quickly last time having promised more on penultimate start. A 4-26 record shows she is more than capable of taking this if answers have been found for last month's performance.
His last two victories came three years apart with his latest in March coming as a result of mistakes by rivals in the closing stages. Handicapper appears to have reacted harshly and the booking of a top conditional seems a wise move.
Has dropped below his last winning mark and finished third to a well-handicapped horse last time. Back over fences after for the first time since pulling up in three consecutive chases in 2015. Favours softer ground but yard going well at present.
Form figures resemble a bad Scrabble hand and he is yet to complete a race over fences. Hard to fancy as a result and with mark remaining 2lb above that for his last hurdles victory.
Has improved since joining this yard and landed his first four races for them. Runner-up to Cucklington on chasing debut and that rival comfortably defied a penalty next time. Should prove hard to beat in this company off the same mark.
Beat two other finishers in a weak looking point-to-point in May. Now 0-11 over fences under rules and has been made to look one paced in the process. Jumps well and that asset could see him make the frame.

Forecasts
Plantagenet (3/1), Roll The Dough (4/1), Bronco Billy (9/2), Shinooki (5/1), High Counsel (6/1), Dawnieriver (14/1), Tea Time Fred (16/1), Lac Sacre (16/1), Raduis Bleu (50/1)
Most of these have questions to answer following recent performances. Dawnieriver would definitely fall into that category having finished last of the seven finishers last time. She would have obvious claims on her previous effort. Lac Sacre is feared under his leading conditional and Shinooki warrants respect with the yard's horses going well. A market move for Bronco Billy would make him more attractive than his recent performances and High Counsel is a sound enough jumper who will plug on at one pace. PLANTAGENET has been well placed to land four races and found a subsequent winner too strong last time on his chasing debut. A repetition of that effort would be more than good enough. Roll The Dough represents a top yard but his latest run was poor and the fitting of a tongue-tie needs to make a big difference.
- Plantagenet
- Lac Sacre
- High Counsel
