Handicap hurdle winner off a mark of 112 at Warwick (2m5f, good) in May and probably found the trip too far when sixth at Worcester (2m7f, good) on his return. Worth a check in the market on chase debut.
Finished runner-up to Bendomingo in the spring but reversed that form subsequently. Fair efforts in recent starts over hurdles and making his chase debut today.
Three time point-to-point winner but well held at big prices in two competitive novice chases so far. This looks a weaker contest but he needs to improve on what he's shown so far if he's to play a hand today.
Useful hurdling winning his first two starts for this yard in early 2016. Relatively lightly raced since and returns to chasing having finished well beaten behind a useful rival on his sole chase start last season.
Dual winner over hurdles at around 2m but placed at up to 3m three times since. Well beaten at the Cheltenham Festival in March and one for the shortlist on his chasing debut.
Seven race maiden but placed on five of his hurdles outings including when third of six at Stratford (2m6f, good) last time out. More needed on chase debut.
Victorious in a handicap hurdle over 2m5f on good ground here just over a year ago. Running well in the main since and put in a career best effort when second to a useful rival on her chase debut at Bangor (good) last month.

PROTEK DES FLOS proved a disappointment when making his chasing debut 12 months ago but he's sure to have been well schooled for this return to fences having spent the remainder of last season over hurdles. The selection had some good form over hurdles in France and he is taken to get the better of Rocklander who is making his chasing debut today and who's best form has come over further. Mr Mcguiness has some decent form over hurdles and can claim third on his first outing over fences.
