No sign of ability in three bumper runs so far having started at progressively bigger prices each time. Tongue tie used last time is removed this time around.

Comes from a yard that have a good record in this sphere and this Beneficial gelding needs respecting on his debut. Bought for £28,000 in May and closely related to the useful hurdler Snake Eyes.

Should have come on for his initial bumper outing at Chepstow earlier this month shaping as though he would need further.
Looked very inexperienced on his debut and ran green and wasn't ideally placed but still managed to split two next time out winners at Ludlow in May. If he's fit an ready to go on his comeback he's one to be noted in the market here.

Just the one run on his CV so far at Warwick in March showing no real promise from a yard not known for their bumper runners. Wasn't the best behaved beforehand and best watched for now.
Cost €28,000 as a three-year-old and has plenty of jumping relations in the pedigree. Yard 0/8 this season in bumpers though and only 2/55 in the last five years in this sphere.

Half-brother to five winners with the most notable being the stables Cheltenham winner Attaglance. Yard not quite living up to their normal strike-rate in bumpers this year but dangerous to discount.

Trainer has a superb 25% strike-rate in bumpers over the past five seasons. Very strong in the betting on his debut at Worcester in October on good ground shaping very encouragingly and looking as though the run would bring him on; major player.

Bred to be useful with winning relations in the pedigree and showed up very well on his debut over C&D in May. Given plenty to do on that occasions and that could have been the reason his finishing effort flattened out but worthy of respect back from a break.

Forecasts

Shall We Go Now (7/4), Inheritance Thief (11/4), Benny's Bridge (4/1), Northern Soul (13/2), Norman Stanley (11/1), Tankerton Boy (18/1), Lygon Rock (66/1), Diablo De Rouhet (100/1), Beau Sancy (250/1)

Verdict

This could actually turn out to be an interesting and informative bumper with a couple of newcomers on display in Benny’s Bridge and Northern Soul who look bred for the task and come from stables with good records in this sphere. Harry Fry has an impressive record with his bumper runners though and his SHALL WE GO NOW looks as though he could be hard to beat here with his initial outing showing a lot of promise. Inheritance Thief and Tankerton Boy are two others well worth noting and give the race some depth.
  1. Shall We Go Now
  2. Inheritance Thief
  3. Benny's Bridge
