Looked rather unfortunate nit to win on her second hurdles start when taking a tumble two out. Given a break after that mishap but has disappointed on her two subsequent starts falling again last time. Now makes her handicap debut with a first-time tongue-tie.
More exposed than most than most in this and while she scores highly on experience her handicap mark looks a stiff one. Ran a respectable race last time and this step up to 2m4f may well help eke out some progress.
Fakenham specialist who was pulled-up on her last start over C&D but looked as good as ever after a break at her favourite track last time when runner-up. Form of that race has been franked by the third and fifth home and hard to write her off here.
Had looked useful in bumpers but remains a maiden under Rules having been placed on her two hurdles starts so far. Now makes her handicap debut off a feasible mark given a chance over a trip that will suit far better than the 2m she has run over so far.
Very much had the run of the race when landing a summer novice hurdle at Newton Abbot over 2m2f. Failed prior to that on her handicap debut off a 2lb higher mark and will need to show more here in her return to action.
Does have some useful Flat form to her name but hasn't matched that over hurdles and looks to be regressive in this sphere. Recent Flat run was modest to say the least and this looks too hard on her second handicap hurdles start.
Poor form in bumpers but was expected to improve over hurdles especially in handicaps but has looked a hard ride so far. Reportedly bled last time out on her handicap debut (refused to settle) and looks to only have an outside chance.
Forecasts
Molly Childers (11/8), Bonnet's Vino (7/2), Undisputed (9/2), Phoeniciana (7/1), Rosie McQueen (14/1), Methag (16/1), Viognier (28/1)
Bonnet’s Vino took this last year off a 2lb lower mark and comes here off a good comeback run at her beloved Fakenham in a race that has worked out well and she should once again have a part to play in this. Rosie McQueen hasn’t convinced with her hurdling so far (fallen twice) and needs to bounce back here but it wouldn’t be the first time that one from these connections has improved for a switch to handicaps. MOLLY CHILDERS gets the trip that she needs/wants here and although she has yet to win under Rules she has left the impression that she’s not far away from breaking her maiden. Phoeniciana faces quite a tough task off this mark but her experience will stand her in good stead while Undisputed would be dangerous with an easy lead.
