Half-sister to bumper winner/useful hurdler Midnight Jazz. Hinted at a modicum of ability if her debut at Worcester in May (12/1) when not unduly punished but she may well come on again for the run here.
Produced a very promising first effort when runner-up in a Warwick bumper in May chasing the winner down in the closing stages. A repeat of that effort would see her go close here if she is ready to go after a break.
Makes her debut here with the unraced dam being a half-sister to the useful hurdler/top-class chaser Wishfull Thinking. Stable have a respectable 18% strike-rate in bumpers over the last five years and she's one to note in the market.
Has a had two outings in bumpers so far six months apart showing little on either start and would be a surprise winner of this.
Just the one run to her name so far looking as though she needed the run (weak in the betting) and she may be able to show more this time around although does need to step forward a fair bit.
Half-sister to three winners and from a top yard but was well held on her debut at Worcester only beating a couple home and looking in need of the outing/experience.
Makes her debut for this still burgeoning yard having been bought out of Jedd O'Keefe's yard for £10,000 in August. Showed ability on her debut for her former yard (ran green) but was a beaten favourite last time; better expected here though.
Newcomer who makes only limited appeal on breeding and with the yard having a moderate record in bumpers she's best watched for now.
One of four debutantes in the race with this one's dam winning on the Flat. Trainer yet to have a bumper winner in the last five years (0/14) and others preferred.
Has gone with little promise on either of her starts so far and has left David Loder and debuts for a new stable here with a tongue-tie on for the first time.
Started joint-favourite for her point-to-point debut but faded quickly in the closing stages. Comes from a yard that have made a good start with a professional licence but both their bumpers runners have failed to make an impression so far.
Nothing much to recommend her on pedigree but has shown ability on both her starts in bumpers. Improved a little from her debut at Wetherby last time out and comes back from a break now for a yard that are going well and are 3/14 in bumpers this season.
Shaped with more promise than on her previous two runs when finishing in the midfield over C&D last time out. More needed here though and looks to be one for the longer term.
Forecasts
Jane Lamb (9/4), Tierra Verde (3/1), Everlanes (6/1), Diva Du Maquis (6/1), Shoreline (15/2), Quine des Champs (14/1), Floral Queen (20/1), Hurlstone Point (25/1), Coded Message (40/1), Mighty Elsa (66/1), Fleur Du Pommier (100/1), Portash (100/1), Zara's Reflection (125/1)
There are a few interesting types in this bumper headed by Jane Lamb who showed ability for her former yard and has joined a top-class yard with maybe more improvement to come. Everlanes looks to be the best of the debutantes from a yard with a good strike-rate in bumpers and she should be watched in the market. Tierra Verde has shown that she could take a hand in something like this and has experience on her side while DIVA DU MAQUIS may be the pick of them all given her debut run at Warwick which looks strong form and she’s the suggestion in the hope that she’s ready to go. Shoreline and Hurlstone Point are two others that can play a part here.
- Diva Du Maquis
- Tierra Verde
- Jane Lamb
