Won a bumper this time last year but it has proved tricky to find a race for him over hurdles. Placed in several from 2m-2m4f, he was well beaten in a similar race to this at Ascot last time from 2lb higher, but this looks easier.

Verdict

Mullaghboy was well beaten over further here last time, but the drop in trip plus that run to blow off any cobwebs could see him do much better this time. Nonetheless, this looks a good opportunity for BARDD to win his first hurdle after a succession of frustratingly close runs for his supporters. Chilli Romance is also in reasonable form, but looks in need a a few pounds of improvement to break her duck.
