A pretty good race for the grade with Newbury winner Picture No Sound topping the weights. He travelled for a long way that day but soft ground appeared to suit him. Central City and Our Man In Havana have winning form here and step up in trip. That would appear to favour Central City who got tapped for speed in a falsely run race last time. Havana Mariposa and Reverberation produced career bests last time and may need to do so again on a quicker surface. As a result the vote goes to ESCAPE THE CITY who drops in class having run in Listed company last time. Hugh Morrison's filly had gone well in a sales race at Newmarket over an inadequate trip on her penultimate start. That form looks good enough for this having opened her account over this distance at Redcar.
