Has shown some ability over fences in two of his three starts but it is now three years since his last win and that came in a selling hurdle. Faces a tough task at the weights and a minor place is the most he can hope for.
To say his chasing debut was a disappointment is an understatement when he never jumped with any fluency or élan. His hurdles form last year if he reproduced it would be good enough to win this and a return to going right-handed may suit him better.
Makes his chasing debut after finishing 4th of nine in a selling hurdle last time out but looks totally outclassed in this.
Failed to land the odds on his chasing debut at Worcester returning from a break having shown some useful form over hurdles. Only went down narrowly to a race-fit rival in a race that developed into a speed test; could be seen to better effect over 2m4f.
