Won just one of his 42 starts to date and pulled up over fences at Galway (heavy) last time out. Others make more appeal.
Successful over regulation fences here in January but no show in two starts since joining this yard and others have a more obvious chance today.
Victorious over C&D on good-to-firm ground in April but failed to complete on recent return to action in a point-to-point and would probably prefer the ground quicker than is forecast today.
Successful twice over regulation fences and justified odds-on favouritism in a point-to-point on soft-to-heavy ground last month. Interesting to see how he fares on his first try over the banks course.
Seven time winner but disappointing having finished a decent third over hurdles at Kilbeggan (2m, good) in July. Making his debut for a new yard today.
Finished third in a six runner contest over C&D in April but well held twice in point-to-points this autumn and more needed on his debut for this yard.
Successful over this C&D in May 2015 and a winner three times over the cross-country course at Cheltenham since. Sure to have come on for his first outing in a year when a good sixth over hurdles at Galway last month and one for the shortlist today
Placed twice in maiden point-to-points at Tinahely this autumn. Latest effort came on yielding ground a fortnight ago and he wears a hood for today's rules debut.
Winner over C&D in April 2016 and placed here since. Well held in a point-to-point on his seasonal debut recently but may surprise a few better fancied rivals in this contest.
Successful in a point-to-point in December 2014 and followed up in a maiden hurdle later that month. Held in handicap chases of late but sure to have been well schooled for his debut in this sphere.
Maiden after 11 starts under rules and a decent effort to finish runner-up in a maiden point-to-point at Dowth Hall (yielding-to-soft) last time out. Needs to step up on that if he's to break his maiden today.
Five time winner under rules but held in two outings since joining this yard and others make more appeal on his first start over this course.
Forecasts
Josies Orders (1/2), Sizing Coal (7/2), Mtada Supreme (10/1), My Hometown (14/1), Enniskillen (14/1), Black Benny (33/1), Canaly (33/1), Finish In Style (50/1), Lighting Tunes (50/1), Tom Horn (66/1), Cadawill (100/1), Thinkinginmysleep (100/1)
JOSIES ORDERS made a satisfactory return to action over hurdles recently and he can register a second C&D victory by taking this competitive looking banks contest. Of his rivals today Sizing Coal has some useful form over regulation fences and can claim second on his debut in this sphere while Mtada Supreme another to have won over this course in the past can claim third on this occasion.
- Josies Orders
- Sizing Coal
- Mtada Supreme
