Following three runs in novice/maiden company, she ran well to be fourth of 11 on her nursery debut at Kempton over 6f, doing all her best work at the finish. The extra furlong should suit and she looks a big threat in a first-time tongue tie.
Only hints of promise in three juvenile contests, but may do better now she runs in a nursery for the first time. Stable has enjoyed a good season with its two-year-olds.
Failed to kick on from a promising debut, but now finds herself in handicap company on an AW surface for the first time. Nicely bred and still early days for her.
Not without promise in maiden company, she is another who makes her handicap bow. Breeding suggests this extra furlong should suit, but ability to handle this surface has to be taken on trust.
Three runs in novice/maiden company have revealed only limited ability, but he should find nursery company more to his liking and it will be interesting to see if a first-time tongue tie is a help.
One of the most experienced, but exposed performers in this contest, but has looked capable of winning a nursery on more than one occasion and is feasibly weighted this time. Each-way claims again.
Has run with credit in three nurseries without threatening to win one. Connections step him up in trip in a bid to find a little extra off his lowest handicap mark so far.
Solid runs in nurseries on last two starts over 6f and form of his latest outing has been boosted by the subsequent effort of the winner. Quite exposed, however, and not obviously suited by the step up in trip.
Best of two runs in handicap company at Redcar last time when sixth of 20. Improving slowly and may be good enough to take a hand off a 2lb lower mark.
Had Lady Sandy just behind when fifth at Redcar on latest start. Evidence suggests he is better over 6f than 7f so he is opposed on this occasion.
All four starts have been over 5f, including when well beaten on her handicap debut last time. Breeding suggests this leap in trip should suit, but it will need to do so.
Has not pulled up any trees in three starts in novice company, but may be seen to better effect on her first run in a handicap in first-time cheekpieces.
No show in three fair maidens and now runs in a nursery for the first time. In-form stable knows the time of day and it will be interesting to see if the market speaks in her favour.
Well held in three nurseries, including two over this track. Connections reach for blinkers in a bid to find some much-needed improvement.
Forecasts
Istanbul Pasha (3/1), Mr Carbonator (6/1), Lady Jayne (7/1), Lady Sandy (15/2), Navarra Princess (8/1), Salty Sugar (9/1), Rock On Bertie (10/1), Avenging Red (10/1), Call Dawn (16/1), Blue Havana (18/1), Fabella Bere (22/1), Partry Flyer (25/1), Lord Caprio (33/1), Out Last (33/1)
Several of these are running in a handicap for the first time, so expect some improvement from the likes of Fabella Bere, Blue Havana, Call Dawn and, in particular, the lowly-weighted Lady Jayne. Mr Carbonator and Lady Sandy have claims, but the suggestion is top-weight SALTY SUGAR, who shaped well on her handicap bow and promises to be suited to the step up in trip.
- Salty Sugar
- Lady Sandy
- Mr Carbonator
