Disappointing in his final three starts on the Flat for Andrew Balding, and absent since May. Makes his hurdles debut for a new trainer wearing the first time hood.
Kept on well to repel Moon Racer by ¾L in the Irish Champion Bumper at Punchestown in April 2016. Makes his long awaited hurdles debut after an 18 month absence, and wears a tongue tie for the first time.
Has plenty of experience in bumpers (Kilbeggan winner in September) and probably shaped as well as could be expected when sixth to the very talented Samcro on hurdles debut at Punchestown last month. Held by Mind's Eye.
Won a minor event (bumper) at Leopardstown in December (2m yielding) when trained by Robbie McNamara, but didn't show up in the Champion Bumper (Cheltenham) in March. Makes his hurdles debut for a new stable.

Competitive at a lowly level in the early part of 2017 (twice placed) and possibly needed her return to action at Wexford last month, but on all known form shouldn't figure.
Down the field on her return to action at Clonmel earlier this month (2m+ soft), and whilst that was her hurdles debut, she needs to do much better today.
Scorpion mare who has offered little in four career starts (bumpers and hurdles), and isn't strong enough to compete at this level.

The eagerly awaited return of the 2016 Irish Champion Bumper winner BLOW BY BLOW. He missed the entire campaign last season, and therefore has an 18 month plus absence to overcome on his hurdles debut, but all being well, he should possess far too much ability for this relatively modest bunch of rivals, and get off to the perfect start over obstacles for Gordon Elliott, Jack Kennedy and Gigginstown House Stud.
