Wide margin winner of his first two starts but has been sparingly campaigned since. Even allowing for the lack of a run, his latest effort was disappointing given how tamely he folded. Has a stiffer task at the weights here than he did then.

Has just had three races since sole success two years ago. Was already in trouble before departing early on chasing debut and cheekpieces need to have a dramatic effect.

Wicked Willy29
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-5| J: Jamie Bargary(3)| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR:  132| D
10/1
Dual winning hurdler who needs to be patiently ridden. Took advantage of mistakes by two rivals to score at Huntingdon and 11lb rise in the weights looks harsh on him. Ground and track should suit his style but others are potentially better treated.

Dingo Dollar29
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King| OR:  130| BF| D

Blundered his chance away behind Wicked Willy last time when a beaten favourite. Significantly better off at the weights now but obviously needs to jump a lot better. Yard 9-26 with chaser here in recent seasons.

Stays well and handles cut. Goes well fresh as he proved when scoring on chasing debut on return two weeks ago. Handicapper has not been unduly harsh and the game attitude displayed at Chepstow would make him a contender.

As a half-brother to Shotgun Paddy this trip and ground combination should be ideal. Makes chasing and handicap debut on a feasible mark and has plenty of potential. Stable had two winners over the weekend and he looks very interesting.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-11| J: James Davies| T: C J Down| OR:  124| BF

Lone win came in 2015 at Wincanton but was competitive in handicap hurdles off marks in the 120s last season. Up against it on chasing debut against fitter rivals.

Placed in a point-to-point and exploited a good handicap mark to score at Sandown in February. Has always looked the type to do well over fences and yard have been in great form lately.

Longtown230
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-10| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR:  123
8/1
Looked another future staying chaser for these famous colours when landing a Warwick maiden hurdle in the spring. Probably the yard's main hope judged on riding arrangements

Pure Visiont239
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-7| J: David Noonan| T: A J Honeyball| OR:  120| C
8/1
Improved throughout last season and relished this trip and track when scoring over hurdles in March. Makes chasing debut against other promising types and the market will be informative.

Forecasts

Another Venture (4/1), Wotzizname (6/1), Buster Thomas (6/1), Longtown (8/1), Pure Vision (8/1), Dingo Dollar (8/1), Max Forte (8/1), Saint John Henry (10/1), Wicked Willy (10/1), Perform (22/1)

Verdict

This is a particularly hard race to solve given the untapped potential of the likes of Longtown and Buster Thomas. Both should have little difficulty in winning races but the lack of a run may prove telling in the predicted conditions. Wicked Willy and Saint John Henry scored last time but face tougher tasks under their revised marks. Wotzizname is becoming expensive to follow and has a lot to do off topweight. ANOTHER VENTURE won well in testing conditions at Sandown and has looked the type to do even better over fences. The yard have had five winners and five seconds since the start of the month. A recent outing at Uttoxeter should have him ready to run a big race
