Won a Worcester maiden hurdle over 2m (good) in May and was pitched in at Grade 2 level at Chepstow on his return run last month, finishing 18½L adrift. Could improve for that run/cheekpieces and should do much better in this field.
Well beaten in both completed starts and will need a huge amount of improvement on his recent reappearance at Worcester to figure this time.
Won two of his 15 point-to-points and now makes a belated rules debut. Is a half-brother to a 2m-2m1f winner over hurdles, but his own form does not look nearly strong enough to make an impact this time.
Has returned three very similar efforts in bumpers so far when there has been some cut in the ground, but not threatened to win yet. Step up to this trip will help and no doubt he will be well prepared, so we may begin to see more from him now.
Won a fast ground point-to-point over 2m4f in April. Dam a half-sister to seven winners, including Grade 2 chase winner Astonville, so nice enough pedigree and market check advised ahead of this hurdles debut.
Won a Lingfield bumper in February and improved on that when runner-up in a Grade 2 event at Aintree in April. Not yet up to that level in two hurdles, but can't rule out improvement.
Showed promise in a couple of bumpers without winning one and his two hurdles runs so far suggest that he can pick up a race before too long. Extra furlong won't do any harm here, but he does need improvement to be winning this.
Pulled up in both point-to-point runs and beaten over 50L in both recent hurdles outings at Market Rasen and Fakenham. Step up in trip may help here, but looks to have far too much on his plate.
Debut point-to-point winner (good) in February, though has looked no great shakes over hurdles in two races so far since joining this trainer. Step up in trip looks very positive and he could make a significant improvement.
Won a Huntingdon bumper on debut last year, but has had just one start since, being beaten 19½L over a similar trip on his hurdling debut about a year ago. Tongue-strap added for this belated return to action and a market check is suggested.
Irish point-to-point winner on debut and ran really well when leading until two out and 7L second on hurdles debut at Ascot (2m3½f, good to soft) last November. That is strong form on the context of this race and he looks a leading player.
Placed in an Irish point-to-point in February and well held in both a bumper and a novices' hurdle since. Should strip fitter for the most recent of those, but looks to have a mountain to climb to make an impact today.
Point-to-point runner-up who scored on his rules debut in a Ludlow bumper (2m, good to soft) last year. Has a lovely National Hunt pedigree and on paper he could be a nice prospect, so it would be no surprise to see a bold showing on hurdles debut.
Ran well for a long way on debut in a Southwell bumper, when eventually beaten 14L. Should do better over hurdles and over this longer trip, so with no fitness concerns he should be in the mix.

With fitness unlikely to be an issue SECRET INVESTOR is given the vote to build on the promise of his Ascot debut this time last year. Black Mischief has the benefit of a recent run under his belt and should give a good account. Itsnonofurbusiness could be an improver, while Way Back Then has the look of a potentially decent prospect on paper and You're So Right, Duke Debarry and Enniscoffey Oscar also have the sort of credentials that could see them involved.
