Former Listed winner over hurdles in France (2m2f, vsoft), though yet to recapture that form in England. Beaten 28L in his only completion over fences and crashed out at Wincanton last time, so plenty to prove.
16-race maiden and runner-up on both starts over fences so far. Latest effort when 1L adrift at Worcester (2m½f, good to soft) was a good run in the contest of this race and he looks short-list material.
Irish point-to-point winner who scored on his debut for this yard in a Southwell novices' maiden hurdle (1m7½f, good) in June. Longer trip looks a plus and he could emerge as a leading contender on his chase debut.
Won a Fontwell novices' hurdle last year (2m3f, good to soft) but the handicapper has held sway since then. Now goes chasing and is from a family that has enjoyed success over fences, though probably one to watch today.
Placed in a couple of hurdles at 2m-2m1f when there was cut in the ground last winter. Well beaten on handicap hurdle debut from just 1lb higher and 16/1 but hampered and pulled up on chase debut last time. Looks best watched this time.
Has only had one run since July 2015 after clearly suffering some problems. Entitled to need his return at Stratford when sent off at just 8/1 and market check advised to gauge chase debut expectations.
Slightly fortuitous 11L winner of a Fontwell handicap hurdle in April when he looked beaten until the leader crashed out late on. Went reasonably well here over C&D on chase debut last month and probably has each-way claims from this mark.
Former Irish bumper and hurdle winner who managed just two runs last winter and has been well beaten on both completed starts over fences. 8lb drop since last run will help, though arrives with a fair bit to prove.
Made a good start over fences when scoring on debut at Plumpton (2m3½f, good) by 10L and ran well again here over 3m last time from this mark. Drops in trip now, but can probably handle that and looks a leading player.
Back-to-back Sandown wins (soft) over hurdles in February/March have been his best efforts to date. Now goes chasing in receipt of allowance, which brings him into contention from this mark in he can go clear.
Dual Irish-point-to-point winner in the spring who has been well held in a couple of novices' hurdles last month since joining this yard. Chasing looks more likely to be his forte, so improvement is anticipated here.
Forecasts
Eyesopenwideawake (5/1), Ramore Will (5/1), Bad Boy Du Pouldu (11/2), Aficionado (11/2), Good Man Vinnie (7/1), Full (15/2), King Cool (10/1), Favorito Buck's (12/1), Admiral's Secret (12/1), Gregarious (16/1), Frontline (66/1)
Full put up a good performance at Worcester last time and would not have to do much more to be a contender here. His chance is respected, though preference is for EYESOPENWIDEAWAKE, who made a good start over hurdles in the summer and will be well drilled ahead of this chase debut. Dr Richard Newland should be able to get the fragile Aficionado competitive, while Gregarious could go well and neither of Gary Moore's pair Bad Boy Du Pouldu and King Cool are ruled out.
