Career best effort when finishing third in the Hennessy at Newbury (3m2f, good-to-soft) last November. Put in a decent effort when finishing fourth on his only outing since at Chepstow (good) last month and one to note off top weight.
Well beaten when attempting to follow up last years success in a Grade 2 handicap chase at Aintree (2m4f, good-to-soft) at the end of last month. Switches to veterans contests for the first time today.
Victorious over 3m at Ascot (good) on his final start of last season but disappointed when pulling up at Chepstow (good) on his seasonal debut a month ago. More needed today.
Some good efforts in valuable staying handicap chases last season including over an extended 4m1f at Uttoxeter (soft) in March. Making his seasonal debut having finished tenth in the Grand National last time.
Six time winner in a 44 race career to date including in this contest two years ago. Races off a 1lb higher mark today and worth a check in the market on his first outing since.
Well beaten in two starts since winning over C&D on soft ground in the final of this series back in January. Interesting to see how he fares on this occasion.

Forecasts
Double Ross (2/1), Houblon Des Obeaux (5/2), It's A Gimme (4/1), Third Intention (9/2), Loose Chips (7/1), Creevytennant (7/1), Pete The Feat (8/1), Vino Griego (9/1)
CREEVYTENNANT can make all the running here under regular pilot Lilly Pinchin. The partnership employed similar tactics when victorious off a 2lb lower mark at Perth in August and they can get the better of Double Ross who ran well when finishing fourth at Chepstow on his seasonal debut last month. Third Intention proved a disappointment at Aintree last time out but should find this company more to his liking and he can claim third today.
