Well beaten in novice hurdles over 2m and 2m4f at this track last season, type to improve now tackling handicaps, though stable may hold stronger claims with Theatre Stage in this contest.
Fair effort on reappearance at Exeter (2m1f, soft) last month to be third, travelled nicely and may just have needed the run. Off the same mark, looks much the more likely of Evan Williams' pair in this field.
Returned from two-year absence to run out an emphatic winner in conditions event over C&D in March. Backed-up with sound effort in second at Fontwell 12 days later. Is rated 11lb higher in return to action however.
Unreliable mare, produced her best effort for some considerable time when 4L second of 18 over 2m at Chepstow 12 days ago. Would have solid claims should she repeat it, despite 2lb rise, but that is no certainty.
No impact in trio of quick maiden/novice hurdles in the spring, opening handicap mark proved too much 41 days ago at Stratford (2m½f, soft) and 5lb relief looks unlikely to bridge the gap. Overlooked for now.

Forecasts
Theatre Stage (8/11), Global Thrill (9/4), Princess Roania (3/1), Flanagans Field (6/1), Rock And Roll King (9/1), Timely Gift (14/1), Boutan (14/1)
THEATRE STAGE may have needed his reappearance at Exeter last month and he wasn't given a hard time of things. With that behind him, he runs from the same mark now and also benefits from Mitchell Bastyan taking 6lb off. That may be enough to give him the edge in this finale. Global Thrill exploited a falling mark to score a double at Stratford last month but was recently found out at Wincanton and may again scrap for minor money now. Flanagans Field returned from a long absence to score here impressively in March and showed that was no fluke next time out. He too is respected despite facing a tougher test from his new rating. The frustrating Princess Roania delivered a much better show last time out at Chepstow and has a chance should she decide to repeat it.
