No win since a Chester maiden in May 2014, and hasn't looked like capitalising on a ever-shrinking handicap mark in his recent form, including over this trip the last twice.

Beaten narrowly by Major Crispies over C&D last time out and re-opposes off the same mark. Has a more appealing draw now and not impossible he could reverse form.

C&D winner last time out having run well the time before to be narrowly denied, also over C&D. Up another 3lb here but on his very best form was rated far superior to these.

Yet to score this year despite some good efforts in defeat, but concerning to see how badly he ran here on AW debut last month.

Yet to really fire for this trainer, slightly better last time at Nottingham on turf but needs to improve on that again and yet to convince on the AW.

C&D winner and won again at Carlisle in the summer, but well-beaten by Major Crispies over C&D last time out.

Has won twice over 5f at this course (and once on previous turf track at this venue), but has also run very well over this longer trip in the past and wasn't disgraced here last time out.

Not the worst overall strike-rate but not at his best recently and only win on the AW came on the Fibresand at Southwell; this is represents a different challenge.

Has mostly been running well without winning recently, lightly-raced on the AW but performed encouragingly enough over C&D last time out that he cannot be ruled out.

Shaped with promise in novice events last year but yet to build on that now handicapping, though very slightly better at Musselburgh last time. Makes his AW debut here.

C&D winner two starts ago and generally at his best on the AW, this seems to be a trickier race than that recent win, however.

Lady Of The Lamp7
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-9| J: L Morris| T: Rae Guest| OR:  63| CD
6/4
Lightly-raced hat-trick seeker who was her last race over C&D last week. A top AW jockey is back in the saddle, and escaping a penalty she holds very strong claims here.

Forecasts

Lady Of The Lamp (6/4), Quick Look (11/4), Major Crispies (3/1), Samarmadi (5/1), Start Time (10/1), Cosmic Chatter (14/1), Ballymore Castle (20/1), Poppy In The Wind (20/1), Vallarta (20/1), Lucky Lodge (25/1), Pomme De Terre (28/1), Manatee Bay (33/1), Naples Bay (50/1)

Verdict

Everything looks set here for LADY OF THE LAMP to complete a hat-trick. Rae Guest's charge escapes a penalty for a C&D victory last week and with further improvement possible with a top AW jockey returning to the saddle, she should be capable of winning her third race in a row at this course. Major Crispies has run well here the last twice and can also hit the frame, while Poppy In The Wind has done all her winning over shorter but stays this far and is also considered.
