9/4
Five-time winner over hurdles (from 31 attempts), showed best form for a while when second at Taunton early this month (3m, good, good to firm). Not the most reliable customer but well-handicapped on her best form.

Just the five starts behind her, well held on handicap hurdle bow at Towcester (2m5f, good to firm) last month, needs considerable improvement over this longer trip to get involved but too soon to write her off.

Moon Trip157
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-10| J: Dave Crosse| T: G Deacon| OR:  98| CD
10/3
Good winner over similar trip here in June, hasn't been spotted since and is rated 8lb higher now but another good showing likely, especially if there is any market traction behind him.

Clay Allisont9
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-6| J: Fergus Gregory(7)| T: O Murphy| OR:  94
10/1
Unplaced in eight starts over hurdles and unseated on chase bow Taunton (3m2½f, good to firm) early this month, hard to find any reasons for turnaround in fortunes at the moment.

Burgess Dream18
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-4| J: A Thornton| T: Miss A M Newton-Smith| OR:  92
8/1
Winner in two of previous four starts over hurdles, both at Lingfield over trip just short of 3m on testing ground. May have needed the recent run at Plumpton after 231-day break but remains 7lb higher than previous winning mark.
6

Sisaniap18
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-3| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR:  91| C
10/1
Filly ran with some promise in three-race summer hurdling campaign but is now 0-8 over timber having blundered away any chance recently at Plumpton (2m4½f, good to soft) on return from a break. Must improve to take close order.

Modest operator, did run best race last time in amateur riders' event at Stratford (3m2½f, soft) last month. Drops in distance now and could get involved if able to repeat/build on that effort.

Age: 9|  Weight: 10-9| J: Daniel Sansom(7)| T: J W Mullins| OR:  83| C| D
33/1
Very in-and-out performer who was a winner here in May snapping a lengthy losing run off a 5lb lower mark. Not been any kind of threat in four runs since and hard to trust at the moment.

Roparta Avenuev134
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-4| J: Tom Cannon| T: C Gordon| OR:  78| D
8/1
Career record is just 1-22 (yet to win over hurdles), ran fair race over C&D last month when fourth, without ever looking like winning. Visor goes on now for the first time, could be harbouring place claims.

Forecasts

Lady Of Longstone (9/4), Moon Trip (10/3), Definately Vinnie (5/1), Roparta Avenue (8/1), Burgess Dream (8/1), Clay Allison (10/1), Sisania (10/1), Good News (16/1), Flugzeug (33/1)

Verdict

Lady Of Longstone knows where the winning post is but is anything but reliable. She produced her best effort in some considerable time at Taunton this month and would hold strong claims on that evidence off a mark that gives her every chance. She is likely to short in the betting however and so it may prove wiser to trust MOON TRIP, a winner here in June over a similar trip. He's been off since that run but did things well then and has to have a good chance on that evidence. Definately Vinnie and Burgess Dream are perhaps best of the rest.
